I'm sorry yours is so serious, it is very hard to not mope about it. I still avoid mirrors. I've had lichenification on the edge of the bottoms of my feet for a couple years now. I used to have the pigmented kind across my shoulders, and it left some weird scars that most people think are freckles.

had same experience and no doctor knew what was cause.one day i requested my 8 y o son to give me a glass of milk. he replied why do you drink it when it only makes u itch. from that day i never drank milk again and within a month mt entire body was without a sore and all of the swelling disappeared.
i then looked up milk and found that cows r given many drugs including antibiotic. so i was drinking all of that too. i'm suggesting it's something internally causing outside irritation.

Unfortunately corn syrup is used in England, but it's sometimes called glucose syrup or treacle instead.

The rest of my family has nasal allergies, I really don't know how I avoided it. ...On the other hand, none of them have eczema!

Thank you for commenting, I'm sorry that I took so long to reply.

Greetings from England, A. Fortunately we don't have corn syrup over here - thank goodness!

I too have to avoid lots of things coming into contact with my skin, but I'm no way near as bad as you. My allergies cause reactions not only to my skin, but also to my lungs and nasal passages, too - but none are life-threatening. All are annoying, but I've had them so long, Its just part of life now.

Its good to talk. I hope you find blogging therapeutic.
